GrandSlambert.com’s primary objective when developing its new WordPress site was not to create a site, but to establish a framework which would support the rapid expansion of an ecosystem of Elementor powered plugins. Instead of spending large amounts of time building out each page individually, GrandSlambert worked with WPE Stack to create the structural and visual components of the site. Using Elementor Pro, WPE Stack created a large number of reusable templates that established a uniform appearance across all parts of the site. Examples of these templates include those used for plugin archives, individual plugin pages, blogs and other content areas. These templates provided a solid base upon which additional content could be created and reused across the site.

The use of a template-based system allowed GrandSlambert to reduce the amount of development time needed to produce each page, and ensure that each page has a consistent branding. A major benefit of this project was being able to separate the process of developing the look and feel (design and structure) from the process of creating content. WPE Stack created the Elementor Pro templates, theme components and page structures that allowed GrandSlambert to focus on what they do best – creating plugin documentation, publishing announcements, writing blog posts and expanding their growing library of resources.

With the addition of new plugins like BookFrame, GalleryFrame, CalendarFrame and RecipeFrame, GrandSlambert was able to simply enter content into existing layout designs instead of having to develop new page designs each time. The templates automatically adjusted the typography, spacing, responsiveness, featured areas and call-to-action buttons, giving GrandSlambert the ability to quickly add new content while maintaining a high quality presentation. This streamlined process enabled continuous growth without requiring additional design and/or development work for each new update. By utilizing Elementor Pro’s dynamic features, WPE Stack established a scalable website architecture that will allow GrandSlambert to meet its long term vision. Each plugin page contains structured information, development status, version information and key feature highlights formatted in a manner that is both informative and visually appealing.

Therefore, GrandSlambert will be able to continuously expand the number of plugins, articles and resources available on its site while providing a consistent user experience throughout the platform. Rather than worrying about designing pages, selecting colors/fonts/images or implementing various technical aspects of the website, GrandSlambert can focus almost exclusively on developing content and creating products.
